Jobs Description :

 The Cambodian Center for Human Rights (CCHR) is a leading non-aligned, independent,

non-governmental organization that works to promote and protect democracy and respect for
human rights – primarily civil and political rights – in Cambodia. 
Currently, CCHR is seeking to recruit one (1) Cambodian candidate for the position of
Project Intern. This is a full time position for a period of six (6) months, based in Phnom
Penh. The selected candidate will work within the Land Tenure Security Project, which
aims to build the capacity of CSOs and marginalize communities to increase their access to
and control over land. Monthly stipend will be provided. 
         Assist in monitoring and record land rights violation cases in Cambodia and 
monitoring Khmer and English media on land tenure issues; 
         Assist in collecting information about land rights and human rights related; 
         Assist in organizing project’s events including training, workshop etc.;
         Assist in providing translation (Khmer into English and vice versa) to team;
         Report to the project coordinator when needed; and 
         Provide necessary supporting role as well as administration work to the  
project team.
         Assist to communicate with other stakeholders (CSOs, Communities and local 
         Assist other task assigned by project coordinator/officer  

Job Requirment :

          Recent University graduate or year 4 student in law or social sciences or  

related fields;
         Fair command of the English language—reading, writing and speaking; 
         Interested in human rights advocacy;
         Good communication skills and interpersonal skills;
         Honest, willing to work, hardworking and willing to learn and;  
         Able to travel to the provinces occasionally; 
         Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Internet and E-mail;  
 Knowledge of Photoshop is desirable; Adobe InDesign is an asset. 
         Able to write report is a great advantage.
